No Room for the Faint of Heart
Well, as they used to say in the Seinfeld sitcom: “It’s Go Time!” As you are fellow woodworkers, I know that I don’t need to explain it much more than to say: there are less than two weeks until Christmas.
So I am taking this opportunity to offer words of encouragement and a call for a positive mental attitude as you push forward in your gift building. I know that most of us no longer really “burn oil,” but late nights in the shop are certainly on the schedule in my corner of the world. And in truth, I really like the solitary hours in my shop putting the last touches (or just getting started) on my handmade gifts. Few things are as rewarding to me personally. I am guessing that is true for you as well.
So be strong, work hard and enjoy your efforts. Two weeks is tons of time!
