Go West, um … Old Man!
Although Horace Greeley was the person who made that cry famous (or a version of it anyway) in the 19th century, perhaps it will be yours truly who brings it to the fore in the 21st century. That’s because I will be in Rocklin, California this Saturday helping to celebrate the Grand Opening of a new Rockler Woodworking and Hardware store.
There will be a lot fun woodworking related stuff happening at the new store, as well as some killer deals on woodworking stuff. I will be doing a couple of demonstrations, one on joinery and one on finishing … and perhaps another cool technique for applying veneer.
If you live in the area, I hope you might have a chance to swing by and see the celebration. It should be tons of fun.
