Fall: My Favorite Season
So, it’s September. As a youth, September symbolized the end of freedom and the beginning of school: not a happy time. But as an adult, this month is the gateway to so many great things that I can’t help but get a little giddy. First, my Minnesota Vikings will stop playing fake games and begin their path to the Super Bowl. (I did mention I was a bit giddy, right?) Also, my hobby of bird hunting kicks into full gear this month — and my pooch and I are ready and raring to go.
But more important than all of that is the fact that woodworking does seem to gear up in the fall, and September is when that gets going. And with that in mind, the Woodworker’s Journal will have some surprises for you this month and the next. So keep your eyes open — I hope you end up a bit giddy, too!
