Not So Silent Night
Christmas is coming! (MUST WORK FASTER!)
I don’t need to belong to a psychic network to know that many of you are increasing your hours in the shop right about now. As a charter member of the procrastinators club (dues still pending), I’ve spent many a Christmas Eve working at warp speed to complete gifts for family and friends. So I can say with total sincerity, brothers and sisters … I feel your panic.
Take this e-mail as an encouragement. I still get comments (mostly positive) about woodworking gifts I gave folks decades ago. In almost every case, the effort you are exerting now will be appreciated beyond your expectations. People really do understand that when they get a wooden gift from your hands, they are truly receiving a gift of your time, creativity and love. So get the coffee pot brewing and the band saw spinning and get those projects done. Christmas is coming soon.
