Spring … Glorious Spring
Spring is here, and that’s no joke.
The earth has tilted on its spoke.
And as celestial orbs align,
In our surrounds we await a sign
That winter’s hold is growing slack.
And yet this morning as I arose,
The numbness lingered in my toes.
I looked outside with dread to know …
That, yes — Spring has arrived with snow.
