On the Lake
As you read this missive, I will be in a secret location in northern Minnesota fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass. The same crew will be with me that have haunted these waters for the last 20 years. We were hard-charging fishermen back in the early days. Up early and fishing late, rain or shine. These days, I am as much about lunch as catching the fish, although the super fresh, deep-fried fare is one of life’s true pleasures. It’s good for my soul if not for my waistline.
Next week I will be back in the saddle, making sawdust and cluttering up the shop. But for now, I’m on the lake.
